Service Description
This online class is suitable for people who have practiced yoga before. THIS CLASS IS UNSUITABLE FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS due to the nature of the online environment. I run six week beginners courses face to face and would be very happy to talk to you about this if you are interested in getting started with yoga. Please do get in touch! This online class offers a steady, mindful flow of seated and standing postures, guided by breath and shaped around a thoughtful theme. Each session brings together asanas (poses), breathing practices and a short reflection drawn from yoga philosophy, creating a sense of continuity and intention throughout the class. THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS CLASS: + The platform for this online class is Zoom. Once booked, you will be sent a zoom invite for the class. You will need to have zoom downloaded on to your chosen device in order to take part in the class. + You’re warmly invited to join the zoom call five minutes early so that you can settle in, ask any questions you may have, and say hello to others before we begin. + If you’d like to keep your space feeling more private, Zoom’s blur background feature is something you might like to consider using. +Students tell me that they prefer to use their laptops, rather than i-pads or phones, for the class as a laptop allows them to see better. Some students tell me they like to view the class by connecting their laptop to their tv. +You will need a yoga mat, comfortable clothing to wear and a blanket for our relaxation at the end of the class. + To help recreate the feel of an in-person class at home, you might like to have your own background music in your space. Everyone's mics will be off so your music will only be heard by you. You can find music on any streaming service. I usually type in something like, 'Yoga music royalty free' to find something that creates a suitable 'mood.' Students tell me that they also enjoy using aromatherapy oils and/or candles to enhance their environment. BY JOINING THIS ONLINE YOGA CLASS YOU AGREE THAT YOU: 1. Have practiced yoga before 2. Take full responsibility for your own safety and for ensuring your practice space is suitable and clear. 3. Feel in good health at the start of the class and will inform the tutor (Michelle) if that changes during the class. 3. That no one else will be present on screen during the yoga session, helping to maintain a respectful and supportive shared space for everyone.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: ALL bookings for ALL of Michelle's yoga classes are non-refundable & non-transferable to any future sessions. With regards to 6-week beginner’s yoga courses, at Michelle's discretion, a full refund will be made only if she is able to fill your space before the start of the course. ALL PAYMENTS must be made in advance for all yoga classes. PARTICIPATION IN ANY CLASS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. You are responsible for your own well -being & physical condition during any class. By taking part in Michelle's classes you agree that you will work within your own comfortable capacity, you will never force or strain & you will stop if something doesn’t feel good to you. You agree that you will seek medical attention & advice as appropriate. If you feel dizzy, light headed, faint or if you experience any other discomforts, stop exercising immediately & inform Michelle. After class, consult a medical doctor. All students are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, injuries, or medications that could affect their practice before taking part in any class. This can be done verbally or through completing an information and consent form, provided by Michelle. Avoid drinking/taking drugs before practice. Wise not to eat heavy meals 2 hours before your class. Keep yourself well hydrated during class. All students must be 18 years and over to take part in my classes, workshops and/or courses. Michelle Burrows is not liable for injuries or accidents. Students agree to take responsibility for their health and well-being. You are responsible for your own belongings and property at all times during and after classes. Please enter the room quietly. Conversation after class is very much encouraged! No phones in class please. No photography or filming by any student during any class. Michelle may ask for your consent to be photographed. You have the right to agree or disagree. Bullying, harassment, abusive language and/or abusive comments during any class will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Michelle's yoga classes are a safe space for everyone regardless of colour, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief or ability/disability. Should you express views or make comments that could be deemed as derogatory, offensive or excluding of any community, you will kindly be asked to leave. Class &/or course content is for personal use only and is not to be shared. Michelle does not guarantee outcomes from the yoga classes.
