Service Description

This is a joyful morning of movement, quiet creativity, and time to pause as the spring season shifts towards warmth, light, and growth. What to expect: + A cup of delicious herbal tea on arrival to welcome you. + A 'gentle flow' yoga class, inspired by spring time themes of blossoming, blooming and turning our faces towards the sun. We’ll explore gentle 'heart-opening' poses and other spacious shapes that invite ease, lightness, and a sense of expansion, without rushing or strain. + A break for tea and biscuits and easy chat with your fellow 'retreaters' before transitioning into... + A guided art activity using acrylic paints to create your own beautiful spring-inspired piece. No experience is needed here - just a willingness to have a go and enjoy the process! Tea and sweeties available throughout! + Time on your mat to embellish your work, which will be inspired by a spring poem that will be shared with you. +A second yoga class, which is a slow, floor-based 'soothing stretch and meditation' class. This class will draw on Traditional Chinese Medicine’s understanding of spring, with attention to the liver and gallbladder meridians. Expect longer-held, supported poses, calm pacing, and plenty of time to rest and settle. This class ends with a guided meditation, aromatherapy oils and eye pillows to help you feel truly looked after. This retreat is suitable for all levels, including beginners. It’s a warm, welcoming morning of movement, rest, creativity, and gentle reflection. There is no pressure to perform, produce, or be anything other than exactly where you are and who you are! What I will provide: Yoga mats, yoga blocks Welcoming herbal tea Hot drinks and biscuits and sweeties to keep you fueled during your retreat All art resources needed Eye pillows and aromatherapy oils for the guided meditation What you need to bring and wear: Your lovely self!
